Covid-19 - Revocation of dispensations/permits to work during quarantine when arriving in Greenland

The Covid-19 Secretariat of the Government of Greenland revokes all dispensations from quarantine when arriving in Greenland as per January 1^st, 2021. The revocations are due to the increasing reproduction rate of the Covid-19 virus in Denmark and worldwide.

The authorities in Greenland has assessed that the risk of spreading the virus is too high if the dispensations from quarantine are upheld. This might also affect the vaccination program in a negative way.

In a few cases, a new dispensation may be applied for. However, it must be assumed that new dispensations will be granted under considerable stricter conditions.
