Greenland is again fully open for entry, and the COVID-19 travel restrictions have been updated and for certain destinations relaxed. The relaxation is made due to new test equipment.

The restrictions for entry, which among other things include home quarantine, now depends on the final destination in Greenland. Travel to 10 cities and 2 settlements may now take place without further restrictions and without the requirement for 5 days’ home quarantine, provided that a negative COVID-19 test is demonstrated and a SUMUT form has been filled out.

The 10 cities and 2 settlements are the following:

Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq
– Nuuk
– Paamiut

Qeqqata Kommunia
– Sisimiut
– Maniitsoq
– Kangerlussuaq

Kommune Kujalleq
– Qaqortoq
– Narsaq
– Narsarsuaq

Kommune Qeqertalik
– Aasiaat
– Qasigiannguit
– Qeqertarsuaq

Avannaata Kommunia
– Ilulissat

If the final destination of the travel is not in one of the mentioned cities or settlements the current restrictions regarding home quarantine for 5 days and testing on the fifth day still apply.
