Raw materials are now on the agenda in both Greenland and in Denmark, and therefore Lawyer Peter Schriver from Nuna Law will once more participate in the world´s largest mining conference, PDAC, to be held in Toronto, Canada on 3‒6 March. Peter will participate in the conference for the 12th time, and this year he will be accompanied by Attorney-at-law Helen Kibsgaard from our close partner Horten. However, Helen and Peter will not travel alone, as a major delegation from Greenland with representatives from the business community, the Greenland Minerals Authority (GMA) and the political community will participate in the conference.
This year´s delegation will also be accompanied by an extra and very special participant, namely His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik.
The purpose of the delegation is a targeted business promotion, which, through networking and marketing, aims to put Danish and Greenlandic companies on the world map and to present Greenland and our abundant subsoil as an extraordinarily interesting destination for the mining industry in particular.
More than 30 Danish and Greenlandic companies will participate in the conference, and the Danish trade fair will be inaugurated by the Crown Prince on the opening day. On the second day, the Crown Prince will hold a speech – and in focus all day will be Greenland´s geological potential in the field of raw materials, as well as the current Greenlandic conditions for foreign investors.
